Market Assessment

The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics hereby releases Construction Input Price Indices (CIPI) for the fourth quarter of 2024. The indices are generated from price data collected from a representative sample of outlets that trade in construction materials. The prices are collected quarterly and are referenced to the 15th day of the mid-month of the quarter.

This report is intended to provide up-to-date information and insights into Kenya’s health market for all health stakeholders – public and private – in order to help strengthen the market at the national level and in the counties. This executive summary provides a short overview of Kenya’s health market assessment, including key sections, primary findings and recommendations for action. This summary is intended to be used by policy makers and key decision makers as a standalone summary document as required.

The 2024 National Agriculture Production Report is an outcome of a participatory process by the data and statistics experts from KNBS and the agricultural sector Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). To ensure that the experts are coordinated and actively participate in the validation process, the activity is undertaken within the umbrella of Agriculture, Nutrition and Environment Statistics (ANES) committee, which is coordinated by KNBS.

This report provides key statistics on the performance of the electricity, petroleum, and renewable energy subsectors during the financial year 2023/2024. It also highlights the performance of emerging technologies such as e-mobility and green hydrogen, concluding with a future outlook.
